Marcia Lacy is the youngest daughter of the late Rev. L. F. Lacy, Sr. and Ester Lorene Copeland Lacy (prior Pastor and 1st Lady of Union Chapel MB Church). Marcia is a lively, fun-loving 47 year old sister, auntie, friend, and God-fearing woman who is currently in the fight of her life with severe liver disease.
We're not counting her out by any means because Marcia is a 10 year ovarian cancer survivor and be believe and have faith that another miracle is possible in her life.
Through this process Marcia is receiving required critical care from Emory University Hospital in Decatur, GA. She is currently on a Liver Dialysis Machine (i.e. MARS) to filter the impurities out of her liver and body. Within the next few days, the next steps for Marcia is an evaluation for a liver transplant.
As a result of her serious condition, we are praying for regeneration of her liver from all the prayer warrior in the world. As well, we are in need of financial support to help with her medical expenses. Unfortunately, due to her long-term previous employer closing, she has been working for temp agencies in the field of machine operator and does not have medical insurance.
Any contribution that you can provide would help with a possible transplant surgery, doctors appointments (3 appt 2 times a day for 6 months), medications, relocation of family member to care for her, and traveling expenses for her and family members to care for her.
We are believers and know that our God can do the impossible and are requesting prayers and any financial support from anyone that knows and loves Marcia and her family.
