This fund has been set up in loving memory of Marcia Gayle, following her untimely passing on Thursday, 11 June 2020 at just 47 years of age. She was a daughter, wife, mother, aunt, niece, cousin and of course a great friend to so many.
Marcia was described as a fighter, as she battled for nearly 9 years after being diagnosed with a rare form of terminal cancer. Marcia defied all odds and used each day to inspire others to be bold and never give up. Even though Marcia was a terminal cancer patient she used every opportunity to give hope to the lives of many patients she met on the cancer ward.
Anyone who had the pleasure of crossing paths with Marcia will remember her as a genuine, humble, pure-hearted soul, who would do anything for anyone and with a smile that could light up any room. Marcia will never be forgotten and she will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her.
Marcia leaves behind her devoted husband, who has lovingly cared for her, her daughter aged 13 and three sons. She was an amazing wife and the most loving mother, and our prayers and thoughts go out to all of them during this difficult time. The heartbreak and void that the family are experiencing is unrepairable and all funds raised will support the family through their difficulties now and in the future.
