Hi. My name is Eric. Today a great friend of mine passed away. He had an accident at home doing hobbies he loved. Today, we need to celebrate his life and help lift up his family in need.

Jessie's life was amazing. He has 3 daughters he cared for tremendously. He was a great friend for me and I love him dearly. They got the chance to say goodbye over the phone before they pulled the plug. I just had the innocent eys of a 3 year old girl ask me "Did Daddy die?" What an absolute tragedy for these beautiful souls.

I will do anything to help this family because they are and will always be my family.

They have some rebuilding to do on there home and need our help.

Thank you Shari Thornton for helping write this update. It's so hard to respond to everyone right now. I see your comments. I see the messages. I feel the love. Please keep it coming and i will definately respond as can. Keep praying. I'm not OK. But maintaining.

Here is more info on Jesse. He was doing what Jesse loves to do and was trying to perfect building fireworks. Something went terribly wrong and it blew up in his hand. He has lost a good portion of his liver, most of his colon, has a broken rib and his left hand has multiple fractures. He has had a few surgeries, is intubated. No one else was injured. Marci, Leon, James and Vicki are there and the girls are staying with friends. Please continue to pray for all of them.

UPDATE: Marci asked me to pass along how humbled and appreciative she is by the outpouring of support she has received. Knowing everyone cares helps tremendously right now. She is understandably overwhelmed and will be in contact as soon as she is able. Mahalo for understanding, and we will keep updating as we can.
