Marching Chiefs Normandy Trip

I am a Senior Music Education major and in my last season with the Marching Chiefs. Chiefs has blessed me with MANY wonderful opportunities in the Seminole community and also, now on a much broader scale.
The Marching Chiefs have accepted an invitation and have formally begun plans to represent the State of Florida and the United States of America at the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Invasion on the beaches of Normandy in June 2019, with additional celebratory performances in Paris.
The last time the Marching Chiefs performed abroad was in 1997 when it performed at halftime in London for the London Monarchs, a member of the World Football League.
In 1974, the Marching Chiefs and some other FSU ensembles performed in Damascus, Syria, at the invitation of the U.S. State Department.
The College of Music is looking to fundraise en masse and lower everyone's total cost, but it will most likely be between $2000 and $2500. I would appreciate any help to get there! I'm looking forward to going out with a bang.
