On January 21st,2018 our loving 98yr old Grandmother Marcela Ando (Simpier) born on June 23, 1919 passed away while holding hands with one of her many great grandchildren in her last moments.
On Dec 24th she suffered from a severe stroke that affected the right side of her body, her speech and her thinking. Before her stroke she was still very independent, fun loving, walking on her own, very social, and a very active regular bingo player. We were all hopeful that she would fully recover. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case and 28 days later she took her last breath peacefully in her sleep to be with our Lord. What has happened is beyond comprehension and we are all still in shock.
Due to this untimely occurrence, the family was unprepared to provide an extensive amount of costs for her final arrangements. We understand how hard it can be and we want no one to feel obligated but any donation, no matter how small is greatly appreciated. Although broken, we thank you with all of our hearts. We would love to give our Mama Marcela the service she deserves. With much love and respect from the Ando family granchildren.
