Marc's Legacy

On January 11, 2020 Marc Strickland Jr, age 18, became victim of a high school shooting. This took place around 9:10 p.m. during a basketball game between South Oak Cliff and Justin F. Kimball High Schools inside Ellis Davis Field House. Marc had to undergo an immediate surgery due to his injuries and remains in critical condition. Marc was talented and loved by everyone he came in contact with. Marc, also known as “Flea”, is now left fighting for his life due to the senseless act. Marc suffers from severe injuries to the brain, lungs, and spine. This account was created to help with funeral costs & expenses to help assist with the burial of Flea. After several procedures and undergoing a series of actions to bring Marc back, the doctors has confirmed that he’s not expecting to be with us for that much longer.
