Marc Cooper is the husband of one of our precious staff members at Heritage Learning Center in McKinney, Ms. April. April Cooper has been such an amazing Early Childhood Educator who has cared for, loved, and taught over 200 children as an Early Preschool Teacher, a Preschool Teacher, and now a PreK Teacher over the last nine years. She and her husband, Marc, have three sweet children together ages 11, 14, and 17.
Last month, Marc who works as a carpenter was experiencing pain in his lower back. When it didn't get better, a doctor's visit revealed a tumor connected to his lower spine and sciatic nerve. The plan to remove it failed do to the discovery of a blockage in that area. After further tests, Marc's doctor shared with the family that Marc has adenocarcinoma. He has stage four cancer. It is not a localized cancer but has infected several organs in his body.
Marc began chemotherapy last Tuesday, and family and friends are praying for a miracle. Because cancer treatment is so expensive and because Ms. April has had to miss several work days, we hope to bless the Cooper family with our love through our monetary support for them to use as needed during this difficult time. No amount donated is too small. When we all come together, we can certainly make a big difference. Thank you for helping to love on the Coopers, and please keep Marc and his family in your prayers.
