Marc's Road to Recovery

Marc Machac was hospitalized on Friday, November 3rd, after a vehicle accident.  The accident occurred at 1:03 p.m. on FM-2311 near Leroy, Texas, as Marc was driving home to meet his son.

Marc was careflighted from the scene with multiple serious injuries.  He suffered a concussion, a splenic injury with active extravasation, 2 facial fractures, and an open femur fracture. 

Marc and wife, Becky Kapavik Machac, have insurance but, as we all know, insurance does not cover everything that is needed in such a life-changing accident.

After almost 2 weeks in the hospital, Marc was able to come home.  He is using a wheelchair and a walker and will have physical therapy and occupational therapy 2 to 3 times a week.

As we begin this holiday season, we are all thankful and blessed that Marc survived the accident and is home with his beautiful family.  All funds received will go directly to Marc and Becky to offset hospital and rehabilitation expenses and loss of income.
