<div>I have created this page to raise some funds for some charities that either helped us in my late husband, Mark, short but hard-fought battle with cancer or were close to Mark’s heart.

<div>I came up with a brainwave(!!) &amp; decided I'd run a marathon in honour &amp; memory of him. Mark was a two-time Ironman, had multiple other triathlons &amp; races under his belt including his 1st ultra marathon a month before his diagnosis. Whilst I have done some triathlons and half marathons, I have never had the desire to run a marathon, in fact, I swore I would never do one and now I'm hoping to do 13.

<div>Each run has been selected for a reason &amp; to tie in some travels we said we'd do.

<div>I have also been humbled by the number of people joining me on various runs, some are seasoned runners other are starting their C25K! The power of Mark to inspire &amp; encourage continues x

<div>4.	<a href="https://www.rpmrt.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Rossendale &amp; Pendle Mountain Rescue</a> – Mark was a team member
</div>
<div>5.	<a href="https://www.maggies.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Maggie’s</a> – who provided support to all of Mark’s family during his journey
