Marathon Noonan

Dave and Liam are running the Galway Bay Marathon on October 6th (and making a fool of themselves) in aid of UCC Surgeon Noonan Society and we need your help!

Surgeon Noonan is a registered charity (CHY10103) made up entirely of UCC 4th Year Medical Students and will make its 42nd trip to underprivileged African hospitals in 2019.

The well-established society, raises over 100,000euro every year, with overhead and admin costs kept to a minimum through funding from UCC and our corporate sponsors, bringing 100% of all money raised directly to the hospitals in the form of much needed medical supplies and financial support. Students pay for their own flights, accommodation, travel expenses etc.

Every cent counts. Examples of developments undertaken with the aid of the Surgeon Noonan Society include the building of new wards, a surgical unit and the introduction of an HIV Outreach Clinic.
