Three of us from the military police in Kenya - Harry Liddle, George Richardson and I - have decided to run the Lewa Marathon at the end of June on behalf of the Great Hope Orphanage.
This orphanage provides security, education and community to the least fortunate children of an already impoverished Kenyan town. The RMP are working to refurbish the building and establish a farmstead to provide long-term economic security for the orphanage, but need funding for building materials and livestock to make this a reality.
The marathon itself is a challenging one, undertaken at altitude and across difficult terrain. We are very grateful for any donation you can make towards our efforts, big or small. Thank you!
