Marathon for Art in Healthcare

I'm raising money in aid of Art in Healthcare and every donation will help. If you are able to contribute a donation in support it would mean so much to me.

Art has helped me on a personal level throughout my life and continues to be a joy and a refuge for me. Making and engaging with art work has helped many of us through the pandemic when small acts of creativity can make a huge difference to a day spent in isolation. Art can also help lift people who are sick in hospital and make a huge impact on someone by changing the environment they are recovering and engaging in, offering inspiration and hope. It's something I feel passionately about and so when it came to picking a charity to fundraise for and help get me out the door training on a cold wet morning, I chose this lesser known, small charity.

More information about Art in Healthcare: Art in Healthcare is a national charity whose vision is to enhance the health and wellbeing of everyone in Scotland through the visual arts. We help people improve their health by engaging with high quality art to explore personal and collective creativity. This includes displaying artwork in hospitals for the benefit of patients, visitors and staff, leading art workshops for people with health conditions and working in partnership with other health charities.
