Marathon in aid of CALM

700,000 a year, almost two every minute. In 2022, 5,642 people lost their battle in England and Wales alone. A majority of these people are young men not too dissimilar to myself. It is deeply saddening to me to see people with so much to offer prematurely ending their own lives. I intend on devoting my life to help people who think they have nothing left to give and have succumb to misery. An important step in that process is to raise money for a charity that fights to help people at their lowest point. Every donation to CALM could save a life. In order to raise awareness and money for this charity I have entered the Brighton marathon. It is an exciting challenge to run my first marathon especially for a cause so close to my heart. So please help me prevent another person from taking their own life.
