<div>Te contamos que en la <strong>Isla Salango</strong>, en el Parque Nacional Machalilla, <strong>Ecuador</strong>, existe un <strong>arrecife de coral</strong> lleno de vida e increíblemente valioso para la economía de las comunidades locales.

<div>Tristemente, este ecosistema, está enfrentando una grave amenaza: una enorme <strong>red de pesca abandonada</strong> está enredada en el coral, dañándolo y atrapando toda la vida que depende de él.

<div>Cada día que pasa, esta red causa más y más daño.

<div>Ya hicimos una primera extracción, pero aún resta mucho por hacer.

<div>Nuevamente nos hemos unido entre un equipo de buzos especializados, instituciones y actores locales de la comunidad para realizar, este <strong>30 de noviembre,</strong> la extracción completa de manera cuidadosa, asegurando un proceso de limpieza y eliminación responsable de esta amenaza.

<div>Para esto, participaremos al menos 15 buzos, en dos jornadas, de mañana y tarde, con dos inmersiones cada una.

<div>Los fondos que recaudemos serán usados para la logística del equipo base desde Quito, el transporte hasta la Isla Salango, personal especializado, equipos de buceo, herramientas e insumos para la extracción de la red, entre otros.
