Mapp Family Medical Fund
Donation protected
On June 10, 2020 the Mapp Family welcomed Nathaniel into the world. Nathaniel was born with several heart complications including ASD (Atrial Septal Defect) and VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect). Both of these heart complications required not only extensive hospitalization but also surgeries to repair Nathaniel's heart. In addition, Nathaniel had Tachycardia which is an irregular heart rhythm. Lastly, these complications made it difficult for Nathaniel to maintain regular feeding times which has required continual monitoring.
This GoFundMe page is for Mr. Mapp and his family as he has touched the lives of so many people through his personal life as well as his educational career. Monies raised will be donated to the Mapp Family to help offset the cost of all medical expenses that have helped Nathaniel continue to improve.
We are pleased to inform everyone that Nathaniel has shown such strength in his recovery. He continues to improve in both normal heart function as well as his ability to eat on his own. Over the next several months Nathaniel's progress will be monitored by family doctors and medical specialists to monitor his progress.
While we continue to pray for Nathaniel's gradual progress, we also pray for Mr. Mapp, his wife Sophia, as well as their other two children Carter and Ava. May they continue their resilience and strength to help Nathaniel grow stronger each day! Our prayers are being answered and we ask that you consider donating to this remarkably strong and inspirational family.
