Maple's Medical Bills

This year for the holidays, in place of traditional gifts, we are asking family and friends to please chip in any money they are able towards our sweet Maple's medical bills.
Back in August, Maple spent two nights in a veterinary hospital being treated for aspiration pneumonia. She was also diagnosed with canine myasthenia gravis (an autoimmune disorder) and megaesophagus (a byproduct condition of myasthenia gravis). Megaesophagus is essentially a dilated esophagus that does not allow her to swallow completely. She must sit upright to eat or drink. She was briefly fitted with a feeding tube while her pneumonia cleared but now eats happily (in an upright position) in her custom made Bailey Chair. Between vet visits, medications, and her Bailey Chair her medical bills have put us in a very tight spot financially. Any amount you are able to give would help tremendously.
