Our Dog Maple Needs Surgery

Our 3 year old shihtzu poodle mix dog, Maple, needs surgery for a herniated disc that has caused her hind legs to be paralyzed. On 11/21/2017, my parents came home from work and were greeted with a very low energy Maple. We thought she was just tired so we let it pass.
On 11/22/2017, we woke up to Maple having difficulty standing up, sitting up, and dragging her hind legs. We took her to the ER to discover that she might have a herniated disc and needs an MRI for about $3,000 and a possible consequent surgery for her spine that would approximate to $10,000.
Maple was such an energetic dog that was either eating, running, playing, or loving us. It is painful to see our baby girl constanly limp, whimper and without an appetite. We unfortunately cannot afford her surgery, and if the surgery is not executed, she will have to be put down.
