<div>He estat treballant en aquest mapa amb l’ubicació dels castells medievals de la corona catalano-aragonesa, des de l’època carolíngia fins a acabar el segle XV. M’animo a compartir-ho amb l’objectiu de fer-ne difusió i de fer conèixer el patrimoni històric del territori. El mapa és útil perquè és una eina interessant per a descobrir castells i traçar rutes.

<div>El mapa està construït per capes, a l’aplicació “Mapas de Google Drive”, i des del mòbil es pot obrir amb l’aplicació Google Maps. Cada castell té un símbol i color que es recull a la llegenda. Altres elements que s’hi poden trobar són: principals vies de comunicació (camins), capitals dels comtats i regnes…

<div>És important dir que, com a projecte personal que realitzo des de fa gairebé dos anys, el mapa està en constant millora i revisió. Les fonts bibliogràfiques són publicades a la pàgina web.

<div>Sobre els orígens d’aquest projecte: tot va començar perquè treballo en el sector del Transport i la Logística. Sovint em preguntava quines eren les rutes terrestres  de comerç dins del territori català  a l’Edat mitjana, i vaig buscar informació sobre els camins medievals.

<div>Ràpidament, vaig veure que al voltant d’aquestes rutes sempre hi havia algun castell, així que vaig posar-ho tot sobre un mapa per a poder anar a visitar-los. A poc a poc, he anat ampliant fins a incorporar els regnes d’Aragó, Sardenya, Mallorca i València, entre altres. En un futur, m’agradaria incorporar els regnes de Sicília i Nàpols.
