Friends, family, and supporters... WE NEED YOUR HELP!
This past February, a team of students from Mountain Pointe High School in Ahwatukee, Arizona competed in the Technology Student Association's Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics and Science (TEAMS) Competition at Arizona State University. In early April, we learned that we had won first place in state and we were invited to attend the national competition in Washington, D.C. on June 27-July 1.
We are all part of a club called Mu Alpha Theta, the national high school math honor society. This 2013-2014 school year we have competed in numerous competitions, even winning a few, including the Chandler Gilbert Community College Excellence in Mathematics Competition, SRP Marquee Math Competition, and TEAMS Arizona.
All of your donations will help fund our team of eight students along with two chaperones on their journey to D.C. We need around $13,000 in order to cover the costs of airfare, hotel, and registration.
