Many Rivers to Cross : Collaboration and Workshop

Hello everyone,

My name is Giacomo (he/they), and I am a British-Italian Dance Artist based in London.

In collaboration with RAG visual artist Martin Ireland and Riverside Studios, I am working on a new project that will bring to the creation of a site-specific dance performance at Riverside Studios, and a movement workshop, free to attend to anyone interested (ages 8+). This performance will also inspire Martin to create a new original painting, which will be displayed at the Studios as part of the RAG exhibition Many Rivers to Cross.

The studios have kindly granted us free use of their gallery spaces, but unfortunately, there are still costs to make this collaboration happen! We need to cover RAG participation fees, materials for painting, artistic fees, and teaching fees for the planning and delivery of the workshop.

We strongly believe this project will benefit the members of the local community, as well as dance and art lovers from all over London, as it will offer:

Installation performance: Friday 2nd September at 5:45pm, Riverside Studios

Movement workshop: Saturday 24th September, 10am-noon, Riverside Studios
