Manny's Recovery From Stroke

In January 2016, Manny suffered a catastrophic stroke which cut off blood flow to the left side of his brain.  The stroke was so severe, that the doctors in the ICU told our family to prepare for the worst.  Manny miraculously survived, but the stroke has left him partially paralyzed on his right side and he now has aphasia - a communication disorder that impairs a person's ability to process language.

In the last 2.5 years since the stroke, Manny has made incredible progress with his recovery.  His parents have taken him all over the country to get him the very best physical therapy and speech therapy available - and it is paying off.  But it is not cheap!

Until recently, Manny had been receiving compensation from his former employer's insurance, but that has run out and he now receives significantly less financial aid through medicaid.  Excluding the travel and living expenses, a 4 week speech therapy costs thousands of dollars.

His family is ready to support him, but we kindly ask those of you who know and love Manny to consider taking this opportunity to support his recovery with us.
