Manuel "Manny" James Santos was tragically taken from this world all too soon on Saturday, December 09th. He was only 31 years young with a long life still ahead of him. He will be missed by more people than can be counted.
Manny was known for always making others smile with his musical talents or making others laugh with his off the cuff comedy skits. Manny was a true entertainer. In addition to his natural musical talents and sense of humor, he had a wide and deep heart for others. He not only served others at his job as a waiter/bartender at Pete’s in Manteca, but he never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone else in need. Family, long time friend, or stranger, it didn’t matter, if he could help you, he did. Manny's core was his family. He was as committed as they come. His Mother, Papa, Titter (sister), Nephew, and Grandparents meant everything to him. His Aunts and Tia, Uncles, Cousins, and Linden Way family were just as important. If you knew Manny, you know that there are no words that can be put down on paper to describe him. He was an incredibly unique and special soul that lit up any room he was in. Manny never even fully understood himself just how special he was.
At this time, many decisions and plans need to be set up to honor his short but beautiful life. Our goal is to take as much stress off the family as possible as they procces this terrible tragedy. Family, friends, and the City of Manteca, CA are mourning. We want to help make sure the celebration of Manny's life can accomidate all of those that he has touched.
