Mission Trip to Manila Philippines

Dear Family & Friends,
I am beyond excited to share with you that I will be headed to the Philippines this Christmas season on a mission trip to serve the children of Manila and surrounding areas!! Children are born, living and dying on the streets and in the city dumps in the areas surrounding Manila. It’s been heavy on my heart for years to serve internationally and after wanting, waiting and praying to join a mission, this incredible opportunity has come up. On November 26 – December 5, I’m joining a national mission team from Extreme Response International and will going to the Philippines to give 1000 of these children a Christmas.
What will we be doing?
* We will be sharing Christmas parties.
* Giving gift bags full of toys to the children.
* Giving bags of food for their families.
* Telling the Christmas Story.
These Christmas parties are often the first time to meet the parents. Because of this, we and the local missionaries, Youth Mobilization, will be able to build relationships with the children and their parents for continued work throughout the year.
With 4 days till takeoff, I HIT MY GOAL!
A BIG thanks to all of YOU and other generous donors from church! Now that my mission obligations are met, any further contributions will still help as I'm taking 2 weeks of unpaid leave off for this mission. WOW, I didn't realize that the emotions of the mission START with fundraising, but it's been humbling and so heartwarming to have your support, encouragement and donations towards this trip!
If it’s in your heart, if you’d still like to donate and help support me and my family through this mission, your donation will be put towards basic, practical use.
