<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have launched a GoFundMe crowdfunding request!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Some of my friends asked me- What is crowdfunding? So I thought I'd start with that.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You have a business idea or a business need, and you need a certain amount of money to fund it. You reach out to a crowd of individuals who can collectively provide you with the necessary amount to fund your venture.
</div>
<div>Crowdfunding is raising small amounts of money, from $5 bucks on up, from many different sponsors so that you can get the total amount of money you need. That’s it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong><em>Manifesting My Vision for Family, Healing and A Creative Community Space!!</em></strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Has been a vision I've been working on for 40+ years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As Steve Jobs said... “If you are working on something that you really care about,
</div>
<div>you don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Indeed it does! In March 2020, when COVID took off, I purchased a 100+-year-old 1025 sq ft, 2-bedroom, 1 bath-cabin, with a 1053 sq ft 3-car garage on .41 acres.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/70419443_1675827123554269_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>During the first walkthrough, I remember standing in the living room and having the thought... "I'm Home".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Then I went into the 3-car garage which is a little bigger than the house,
</div>
<div>and said to the realtor "I could turn this into my office and have a community space for workshops and music!".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When I went into the backyard and saw how large the property was...
</div>
<div>the whole thing came together-
</div>
<div>"I can manifest my Vision to work out of my home, have Holistic Health Retreats and host House Concerts again!"
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And... I had no idea how I was going to pull it off!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I had never purchased a home alone.
</div>
<div>I just knew this place felt right and it was no accident I found it.
</div>
<div>It checked off all my boxes for what I wanted in a home and was worth pursuing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"When the Door opens walk through it!"
</div>
<div>A friend once told me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"Hold on to your hat! and keep going!"
</div>
<div>My dad always said when I needed encouragement facing a big challenge.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I trusted those feelings and then the magic started...
</div>
<div>Turned out I was eligible for low-interest loans from Wasatch Housing Authority and Federal Housing Administration and with the help of a co-signer we closed on the house on March 5, 2020, right when you couldn't get toilet paper!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Fast forward 3 years later once again My Vision is pulling me to move on it Now!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As many of you know, every winter my Mom/Mema comes out to ski and stay with me.
</div>
<div>She is now 94. She says she wants to ski again this winter! I hope so! Skiing makes her happy!
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/70419443_1675904232414518_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She is an inspiration for us all! However, with age can come a decline in how one functions- especially with memory. Her body is still strong- Just the other night she was out dancing with my sister to John Cowan at 3rd &amp; Lindsley Bar &amp; Grill in Nashville!
</div>
<div>Go Mema!! She loves to dance!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>However, Mema now is needing to not be alone and requires additional assistance with Home Health Care. I can care for her in the mornings. Afternoons she will need assistance when I'm working. Fortunately, Heber City has great senior support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Last winter I moved my session room into the Living Room so MeMa could be in the guest room puzzling and napping.
</div>
<div>This winter because of her increased need for assistance it is not sustainable or professional to work out of the house with her caregivers coming and going.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Thus my motivation and drive to turn my 3-car garage into my work and community space and move my office/session room out of the main house.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This past December I was able to start the project with an SBA Loan I took out during COVID.
</div>
<div>This is covering the bare bones work and great progress is being made!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The plumbing is in and electricians are in the process of getting the wiring completed. The office floor is in, framing has started.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Phase 1 is to move the office/session room out of the house.
</div>
<div>Phase 2- complete the community/workshop/music space.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/70419443_167582566031400_r." width="100%" />
<div>The plumbing is done.
</div>
<div><br />

<div>The floor is installed and framing has started!
