Mandi Featherstone

Thursday morning Mandi suffered a stroke of the cerebellum. "Cerebellum Stroke of the Carotid Artery."

The cerebellum controls sight and coordination, both of which are very impaired currently for Mandi at this time. In order to regain those functions to their fullest abilities, intensive inpatient therapy is needed. 4-6 hours per day of physical therapy and occupational therapy. (Not each. 4+ hours, combined). Her insurance refuses to pay for these therapies and will be all out of pocket.
If she can't find the funds to go to inpatient then her only option is outpatient therapy. Doing outpatient therapy for this amount of time each day would almost be impossible. She can't drive which means every day she would have to find somebody to bring her there and back. Meanwhile, also find somebody to care for her small children during all that time.
If Mandi can be in a place that is structured she will get optimal results. She will have no distractions like she would at home with kids or other business. She would be able to use 24 hours there everyday to the fullest and optimize all they have to offer to get Mandi back to her normal self, and also be able to care for her beautiful children.

Please help, anything helps. Mandi is a wonderful mother, a fantastic friend, loving person and always willing to help others, now it's our time to pull together and help her .  Thank you.
