Just when I thought I was organized and had things planned and in order to start a new school year, sell a house, and have a baby boy this fall...
My water broke spontaneously on Sunday, August 6th. I am only 27 weeks pregnant.
I was admitted to LMH and then taken by ambulance to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. My contractions have slowed. Both baby and I are being closely monitored and taken care of.
The doctor's plan is to try to not deliver for another 7 weeks. Baby will be better off for each day that I can continue to be pregnant. Days count, weeks are better. Please keep us in your thoughts and send positivity our way as we wait for him to strengthen and grow.
As you might imagine, the medical bills will be immense and this account is to help defray the costs.
