There is a very special place in the north of Peru it’s called Mancora. It’s a sleepy little surf town where the locals gather religiously in the East morning light the catch their first wave of the day. We have been quarantining here for the last six Months. During this time we became close friends with a local surfer named Eric. He helped us with anything we needed and always with a smile. Everything from helping get us medicine and drs when Ill to fresh fish from the wharf and made sure we were always safe. His business is purely based on tourism with a Tex Mex restaurant he has had just off the sandy path behind the surf school. Due to covid it has been closed and Eric still always had a smile on his face. He works hard for his family and truly is a caring person. Once the restaurant opened we passed by for support. We noticed how run down the place is and he hasn’t been able to stock it due to being shut or hire staff with the season about to start here we want to pay it forward by asking for some help to turn his restaurant around. All small businesses are suffering at this time its heartbreaking to see so many favorites around the world going out of business and suffering after years and years of hard work be torn apart and shut down during the pandemic. We plan on using our creative minds and eye to transform his spot into a Mancora hotspot and we are asking for your help.
