Manchester Marathon for Teenage Cancer Trust

Hi everyone,

I will be participating in the Manchester Marathon on April 14th aiming to raise as much money as possible for Teenage cancer trust.

I truly believe this is the best cause that I could raise money for due to the number of young lives and families shattered by this awful disease. This charity are helping young patients on every children’s cancer ward in the UK, every day.

No donation will be too big or too small, I am sure the charity will appreciate your generosity immensely and the money will be used to rebuild young lives and give future generations better chances of beating this disease.

Many thanks,

Sam

From their website:
Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. We’re the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need – so no young person faces cancer alone.

We make sure young people have someone in their corner right from the start. Our nurses and youth workers walk with young people from diagnosis through every step of their treatment, and for up to two years afterwards, so that they can recover and live life to the full.

What we do

Teenage Cancer Trust offers unique care and support, designed for and with young people. We fund specialised nurses, youth workers and hospital units in the NHS, so young people have dedicated staff and facilities to support them throughout treatment.
