We have chosen to run the 2021 Manchester Marathon to raise money for Alzheimers/Dementia Research. Our families have been hit by this disease in a massive way. We have seen how devastating this is to the person it affects and the strain on family members providing care.  We will complete the 'race' in full uniform wearing breathing apparatus. The breathing apparatus cylinder will be worn all the way and  opened at mile 25. I dont think we will win the race but its worth a small bet . If you can spare any money to give to this charity we would very much appreciate your generosity.  More information about Alzheimer's Research UK: Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity. As research experts, we fund world-class pioneering scientists to find preventions, treatments and a cure for dementia.
