Mamock's Medical Bills

2020 has been a hell of a year for lots of people. Unfortunately, one of those people is my grandmother.

In August 2020, my grandmother - my Mamock - was diagnosed with CNL Leukemia. CNL Leukemia is a form of leukemia that is a slowly progressing, uncommon type of blood-cell cancer that begins in the bone marrow. Doctors are unsure why, but it's caused by a mutation in the chromosomes that occurs spontaneously. She's also been diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease. During the treatment for her CNL, she's been diagnosed as anemic due to a low red blood cell count.

The treatment for CNL Leukemia for my Mamock involves taking chemotherapy medication pills, Sprycel. She additionally takes iron supplements, since iron levels can be affected by chemotherapy.

Due to the CNL and retiring, Mamock can't work - and in the age of COVID-19, she most likely wouldn't have much luck in the workforce anyway. Bills don't stop - routine bills like mortgages and home insurance, electric and water. The additional strain of paying for treatment and trying to manage medical bills is huge.

In cases like these, literally every dollar helps. Every penny helps. If you can donate, please do. If you can't donate - which we understand - please share this link, so others have an opportunity to help, and if you have prayers or good thoughts to send her way, please do so.
