Mama Shorter and Family Fire Relief

On Christmas Eve a horrible fire destroyed the home and van of 2 beloved Tracy residents and their family. Thankfully no lives were lost and no-one was seriously injured. Momma Frances Harris-Shorter of Shorter's BBQ and her daughter, Rhonda Henderson, a homeless advocate who has been feeding Tracy's homeless for the past 3 years, as well as Frances' adult disabled son and Rhonda's disabled husband. Many of the home's contents were lost in the fire. Unfortunately the family did NOT have insurance coverage for this, so along with family and friend's help we are reaching further to extended family, friends and the Tracy Community for any contributions to their needs.

They are currently being housed at a local hotel paid for by their churches, but will soon be seeking temporary housing for 3-6mo.  This fundraising will be used to assist with the cost of cleaning, packing and storing the salvageable items,  as well as replacing the items that were unable to be recovered.
