Mama Beyer’s Medical & Expenses
My name is Chyanne Beyer, and I’m asking for your support in helping raise money for my mother Verna Jo Beyer, who is rapidly loosing her battle to cancer. Verna is the wife to Kevin Beyer Sr and the mother to Crystal, James, Kevin Jr and Chyanne. She has two beautiful grandchildren, Austin and Erica, who all love her so much. She is our world and glue to the family.
Verna was diagnosed with stage 3 Lung Cancer in May 2019. Doctors preformed surgery in June of 2019 following Chemo treatments and Radiation to stop the spread. She was in remission for about 6 months, and we thought the fight may have been over. Unfortunately, this Summer of 2020 the cancer came back and it spread to her liver, we did another round of Chemo by putting pellets in her liver to try and stop the spread. The Chemo pellet didn’t work as the cancer spread to her spine.
This week, we were informed that the cancer has aggressively spread to her brain and she has been given only two weeks to live.
Verna and her family live in Arizona but she is being treated at the Infinity Hospice care here in Vegas till she peacefully passes with family around.
My Family’s expenses are quickly piling up and my dad is struggling to make ends meet. He is so hard working and would quite literally give the shirt off his back. Working 40+ hours a week in the Arizona heat and then driving 2 hours back and forth from Arizona to Las Vegas to see my mother at the hospital as well as the past few months taking care of her night and day after a long day at work has been rough for him.
My mother is so kind hearted, always putting her family and friends before herself, always making sure us kids felt loved and secure. She is the glue to our family. Although her cancer story does not end in our favor, we are still putting up one hell of a fight!
I’m asking for support as we need to start thing of final expenses. Anything will help.
