Malignant - A Short Action Film
Hello everyone,
Our names are Jared Draney and Ben Hess. We are currently in our senior year, studying Film and Television Production at Western Carolina University. This October, we will be shooting our senior thesis film, the biggest project of our college career! We are asking anyone for donations to help us make our dreams and project come true. Whatever we raise will be matched by our university, so the more we raise, the better! Donations of any size are accepted and appreciated. Sharing this page will also be a huge help. Anyone who donates or contributes financially or physically will have their name in the credits of the film! This project will have a crew of roughly 25-30 film students and is a large and demanding set experience. We have acquired an amazing team of our fellow classmate filmmakers to help us make this script come to life! Rick Sharpe, the son of late cancer researcher Martin Sharpe, in an effort to keep his father’s work alive, breaks into Sharpe Labs to steal his father’s recent cure for cancer. But when his Uncle, Victor Sharpe, stops Rick in his tracks, he must use his resources to take the cure and escape, giving the cure to the people like his father wanted.
