Maliah Kennedy, Victim of drive by shooting

Early this morning (December 27th) my daughter, Maliah Kennedy, just two days following spending Christmas with her family, was one of the victims injured in a drive by shooting that occurred in South Bend Indiana. She was at home in her apartment when shots were fired into the residence. Maliah was shot in her back causing injury to both her liver and lung. Maliah had just recently moved into her apartment with her roommate and was attempting to get on her feet. She is a mother to two beautiful children ages 3 and 1 1/2 years old. She was striving to save up to purchase a vehicle and furnish her apartment for her and her two children. Maliah has a very caring nature and heart. She would do anything for anyone if they asked and even if they didn’t. At this time, it is unknown what the motive was for the incident or if it were a completely random act of violence.  I am asking for Donations for her as She will be without finances making her ability to pay rent, utilities, hospital bills or be able to get closer to obtain a vehicle needed for follow up doctors visits etc. for several weeks. Any donations collected will be used for helping her get through this horrific incident and attempt to get on with her life and move forward.
