Malawi Missions - Project Juembo

At the beginning of February, an old college friend reached out to me to see if I would be up for chaperoning a missions trip to Africa with some high school kids out of Mississippi. (Their chaperones bailed on them last second.) I agreed to do this because I believe in the mission of sharing the Gospel of Jesus through your actions, not just words.

By packing school supplies for underprivileged children, Project Juembo believes "that by bettering a child's education you also better their future."
Through this ministry,  African Bible Colleges will host 14 students for a month so that they will have an opportunity to serve children in Malawi in education, athletics, and food distribution for the month of June. I'm hoping to raise $4000 so that I may go with these young leaders and help be a excellent example of the church. I've always been a huge fan of practicing what you preach and these kids have turned that mentality into action. If anything, their ambition to serve and sacrifice moved me to do the same. I've never been on a missions trip and this opportunity has come at a perfect time in my life to do so. 

ANY amount helps and I truly mean that. From pennies to big bills, please choose to give whatever you feel led to. If you feel obligated to give, keep the money. I want to accept donations that I know believe in me and the mission. I'm doing my part and working extra jobs to raise some more funds by the time we leave in June.
