Malachi's leg surgery

Malachi came to us when he was rescued from a shelter. We knew he had a limp and after having xrays done at our vet it was determined that he had old fractures to his leg that had healed improperly.  His leg CAN be saved. He needs to have it rebroken, reset and repaired ( more than likely plates and screws).  Added to this he is also heartworm positive.  We want to get this sweet boy all the medical he needs but we need donations to do so.  We have been quoted approx. $3500.00 just for the leg surgery.  We would like to raise $3800.00 since a % of donations raised through this site are  taken out due to fees, thus allowing us to raise the funds needed for his surgery. He will be getting his surgery at Mississippi State Vet School in Starkville MS.  Donations can also be made directly to our account there.
