2 Months ago my office bestie was diagnosed with breast cancer at just a young age of 28.
It is crazy to think that such a young, happy and healthy person now has a huge battle ahead of her which has already started with chemotherapy.
After her very first round of chemo, she started noticing that she was losing her hair.
Having hair is such a large part of being a female(especially at such a young age), so I have decided that I will be shaving my head in support of Meg.
My goal is to raise $2,000 for cancer reseach and hopefully at the same time raise awareness for others.
It is hard to believe that 1 in every 8 women are diagnosed wth breast cancer before the age of 85.
In 2017 alone there have been 17,586 women diagnosed with breast cancer, that is around 47 per day!
