Making One Dream Come True

Hi, my name is Kristen and I am fundraising for my mother Katherine who was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. My mother was a trailblazer when she was young, building her career, taking care of her family, and chasing her dreams. In 1991 her journey was cut short by a sudden illness, and for the years that followed she has had countless health problems. This has never stopped her optimism and strength of character, but it did stop her from achieving her personal goals and dreams. She always encouraged my sister and I to follow our own paths and create the life we deserve, but earlier this month she was diagnosed with Peritoneal Carcinomatosis after fighting stage 3 Endometrial cancer last year. She has never realized her creative dreams, her personal ambitions, or been able to travel and experience the world the way she wanted to so many years ago. I am raising money to help her realize at least one dream, any dream, before she goes. Currently, with all of our funds tied up in a major home renovation, I am fundraising specifically for my Mother. Any funds raised will go directly to her and be used towards dreams she has longed to fulfill, like seeing her home of 40 years renovated with the personal touches she had planned, spending extra time with her family and friends, or trailblazing with her offroad wheelchair on new paths before she goes. My Mother has also said she wants to ensure that my Dad, my sister, and me have a soft place to land and comfort when shes gone.
