MAKING MEMORIES FOR THE HANDSCOMBE FAMILY

Please help us to give Angela, Michael, Sophie and Matthew the chance to create some magical memories!

For many of you reading this, you will already know that our dear friend and colleague Angela, was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year.  After initially responding well to the chemotherapy and the tumour reducing in size, Angela became increasingly unwell with headaches and blurred vision.  Recent tests have shown that her cancer has spread and this is now incurable - the current prognosis is just a few months.

Life has a cruel way of throwing punches ... this is a polite way of encapsulating all the angry words that I want to use to describe what is happening to my friend Angela.

Time is now of the essence and we need to give Angela and her family the gift of making memories together.  I would love it if we could raise a ridiculous amount of money to enable Angela, Michael, Sophie, Matthew and their extended family to have the chance to do things together that they may not have done normally - because "normally" there would be time to plan these things, right?  Lets think a weekend in Paris, a week away near the seaside, afternoon tea at the Ritz ... think big!  Ultimately, we want to be able to make it possible for Angela and Michael to decide what they would like to do as a family whilst they have time!  

Angela, as many know, is the glue that has held a lot of us together over the years - her PA colleagues and teams, and closest friends know this better than most!  For me, she has been a complete rock through many of my challenges and I know without a doubt, that I would not have got through some of them without her.  Now, if this is all I can do to show her how much her support, friendship and love over the years has meant to me ... I am going to do it big - please join me! 

Lets make the next few months the best they can be for Angela and her family - and lets leave Angela with no doubt what-so-ever about how much she is loved and thought of by so many people.
