Making gift bags for NHS staff & Care workers

Donation protected

Hi my name is Amber I am 11 years old, I have been making home made rainbow badges for NHS staff and Care workers, at the beginning of lockdown whilst doing our first clap on a Thursday night for the Key Workers I realised how many of our friends and neighbours are working on the front line during the Covid19 pandemic, I wanted to do something to make them smile and feel appreciated during this difficult time.

So along with my hand made rainbow badges my mum and I put together gift bags for our friends and neighbours who were key workers, they included a moisturising hand mask, a guardian angel to watch over them and keep them safe, a face mask for some pampering as many are suffering with sore faces after wearing masks all day!

These gifts bags were so gratefully received that I now want to do more gift bags for more of the frontline workers, so I am hoping to raise some money so I can buy more items to go in these bags to make more of these special people smile and feel appreciated. To start off I have used my own pocket money with contributions from my mum & dad

We already have a small batch of bags ready to go to a team at Leighton Hospital via our neighbour who is a doctor there.

Everything penny of the money I raise will go towards making more gifts bags

This is a link that the local newspaper did about my gift bags
