Face Masks for Charity Donation

Mum and I have been sewing items as part of the 'For The Love of Scrubs' initiative.
Our latest task was making masks for ourselves, and with lockdown easing, it soon became obvious that there is a need for masks amongst our family and friends too.
As those who have expressed interest have offered a donation we thought we would create a safe place to allow this to happen.
We thought a donation of £4 per mask was about right, with all money raised donated to a charity of our choosing.
Rather than spend time searching for the right charity, we thought we would crack on making the masks, and the right decision will appear as we sew. We promise we will keep you posted as soon as we work that out!
The fabric, is cotton, will be made into double layer masks with a pocket for you to add a filter if needed. Its mostly fabric we already have at home, so the patterns may vary.

The sewing Gods have guided us towards wanting to donate this money raised to Macmillan Cancer Charity. A charity that is very close to our hearts and through all this uncertain time they've continued to be there for a lot of families going through the trauma of dealing with a cancer diagnosis. Thank you.
