Making Ends Meet for Low-Income Employees

Donation protected
On September 27th 2020, the low-income latino workers of VI Pizzeria were left unemployed without pay due to a kitchen fire that started on the same block harming other businesses.

The pizzeria was fortunate to not get burnt down, however there were damages that rendered the pizzeria shut down for an unknown amount of time.

These hard working men with families to feed, rent to pay,  are left without pay, and a roof over their head is not promised especially during these unprecedented times of COVID. These hard working men are unable to file for unemployment relief.

These are the same men who have fed countless of people around the neighborhood and love what they do everyday with a promise that was once granted that they would come home to their families and place to live.

We ask the community to give a sense of hope and reassurance to make ends meet, bills to pay, while these men can get back to work doing what they love.

Donations will be split among these workers to aid help in paying rent, groceries, and other utilities. ANY DONATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE. Even a dollar.  <3 THANK YOU!!
