<div>Making Banepa Greener 2026. This is year 3 of our grassroots environmental project supporting the ongoing tree-planting work of Rashil “The Treeman” from Banepa Stay, who has been planting and caring for trees in and around Banepa, Nepal, for 17 years.

<div>Over the past two years, the project has grown into a collaborative effort involving Banepa Stay, Treehope Travel, and F &amp; F Cycling Club from Kathmandu.

<div>Now in its third year, Making Banepa Greener will continue tree  planting up to 50 new established trees, involving schools, public spaces, local volunteers, and promoting environmental awareness, including plastic and litter cleaning. This ensures the work already done has a lasting impact while engaging the wider community.

<div>This year, the project is also being supported by Clare Harford of Yoga Ayurveda Retreats, who is marking her 60th birthday by raising funds and donating 100% of the proceeds to this initiative.
