Making an impact in Zambia

On May 11th Justin and I begin our journey to Africa. For three months we will be volunteering with an organisation called African Impact and be supporting their initiatives in Livingstone. They do incredible work providing education, medical care and resources that support social problems such as HIV/AIDS, inequality and under-education.
We’ve set up this page so that if we come across a case for change we have the funds to financially back it. Whether big or small, if you choose to give we will be so thankful as will the people it will help. We truly appreciate all your support and hope together we can make a lasting impact. Some of the projects we have in mind include building street libraries around the community, or focusing on more rural areas and improving their standard of living by replacing thatch roofs (pictured below from our last visit) with more sustainable material.
We can't wait to get over there and will be sure to keep you updated as we go (or stay tuned on Instagram where you can see the day-to-day of what we'll be doing: @kathyohalloran).
