Makhi’s Strong Recovery

Hello my name is Hope, my son Makhi is 15 years old, he was shot on August 21, 2022. He was on the porch with friends when he was shot. He was shot in the back which caused damage to both lungs and spinal cord. He underwent back surgery on August 24, 2022 to place rods and screws to stabilize his spine. As of now Makhi has no feeling to the lower part of his body from his mid chest down. Makhi may not regain the function of his lower half in which he will need intense therapy and a long road to recovery. Makhi will require medical equipment and a handicap accessible vehicle for the foreseen future. I’m creating this page to ask for help from the community, family, friends and public in hopes of getting Makhi the medical treatment and equipment he will need. I also ask that everyone keep Makhi in your thoughts and prayers! Makhi is a strong young man and I know God will see him through this.
