Make-up training for 10 Cambodian LGBTIs with HIV

In this corona era where many people loose their jobs, in Cambodia it can mean the difference between living in extreme poverty or provide you and your family a better livelihood.

In august we want to help 10 HIV positie LGBTs - who have no job skills - with a make-up education. When the wedding season starts they will be ready to provide their own income. A way out of poverty.

Untenu Foundation works together with the National LGBT Network Cambodia. We provide funding for emergency aid, education and work places for HIV positive LGBTs who live in poverty in Cambodia. Cambodia is a country were a large amount of the population lives in poverty. Vulnerable groups like people living with HIV and especially the LGBTs living with HIV face discrimination and stigma whic often h lead to exclusion from family.

Our Cambodian partner organization will carry out the training by two local professionals. With this money we pay for the materials, food and transportation costs for the participants.
