Maker Space for ACG!!

Hello! We are Mr. Ben and Ms. Morna and we are teachers at Austin Children's Garden - an early childhood learning community in Austin TX. Help us transform our 10 x 20 historic outdoor building (built in 1895!) into an awesome Maker Space Tinkering Shed for the kids! We will use it for activities for all of our age ranges at ACG.
Our dream is to stock the maker space with with full sets of high quality tools and materials for the children to explore turning their ideas into reality including :
child sized solid woodworking tables benches and work tables
high quality children's maker tools and supplies
a laser 3-D printer
an electric kiln
small potters wheel
The maker space will need to be wired for lights and plumbed for a clean up sink. It will be a substantial investment of time and dollars, but our children at ACG showed us this month that they are INSPIRED to build and create! Check out our latest blog to see the kids in maker-action:

We hope to make the transformation happen over the winter break so please contribute as soon as you can. We are so grateful for our supportive community in helping ACG continue to flourish as a truly inspirational environment for young children to learn and grow.
