Makenna & Family could use a little help...

Our family is asking for anyone who has a few dollars to spare please consider helping Katherine and Terell, this will be a lengthy heart wrenching process and many hours of work will be missed. There are so many expense beyond even the hospital bills for them at this time.
Katherine explains what is going on: Makenna had suffered from a Stroke (Friday 5/29/20) which affected the left side of her brain causing loss of movement on the right side. Doctors said that one of the main arteries leading to Makennas left lobe was blocked, which is what caused the stroke.
5/31/20 - MRI results came back yesterday and showed that Makenna had some swelling on the left side of her brain, which they say is normal after having a stroke and in order to avoid further damage it would be best to take the left side of her skull off for the next few weeks to relieve this pressure and swelling!They are telling us that babies bounce back from stuff like this, maybe not fully but mostly so we are very hopeful that she will as well.
We are trying to stay positive and strong but it is so hard watching her go through all this. We will know more when they start taking her off sedation and she starts coming back to!
6/2/20- Whenever they tried to lower the dose of medicine's yesterday to try to let Makenna breathe on her her vitals started going crazy. They tried off and on yesterday without any luck. So today they are switching her sedation medication to see if maybe with different medicines they can get her breathing on her own. This will probably take most of todayuntil possibly tomorrow. Makenna did not have a good night last night so they are moving very slowly.
Its sounding like we will be spending the next couple of months here at Levines and that we have a pretty long road ahead of us!
