<div>This year, I'd like to get my friends &amp; family involved in helping me fundraise for some important, timely causes. By contributing, you'll hopefully be adding to my longest ultra-marathon ever!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For every $20 contributed to this fundraiser, you'll add 100 meters of SWIMMING to my total distance. If you'd like to add RUNNING or WALKING miles, check out the other two fundraising options!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hopefully, we'll be able to put together not just a wild test of endurance for me, but an amount of money for each charity greater than what I could contribute on my own.

<div><a href="https://transgenderlawcenter.org/about/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Why Transgender Law Center</a>
</div>
<div>"Transgender Law Center is the largest national, trans-led organization working to set all people free. We champion the right of all transgender and gender-nonconforming people to make their own choices and live freely, safely, and authentically. Prioritizing BIOPOC, disabled, and HIV+ communities, we advance community-driven strategies that harness trans knowledge, power, and joy to ensure that we all not only survive but thrive at all ages and phases of life."
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At a time when transgender rights are coming under more fire than ever at the federal level, it is extremely important to continue leveraging the law to defend the rights of all people - for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. TLC's expansive reach into intersectional justice addresses the needs of the Bay's, and the nation's, wonderfully diverse trans population.

</div>
<div>Please consider donating what you can to one, two, or all three organizations! They are all well-regarded, established Bay Area nonprofits with a track record of tangible impact.
