I was never very good at writing bios, or asking for things. So bear with me if this is a little rough around the edges.

A few months ago I went in for a routine exam with my lady mechanic. While this is uncomfortable (ladies you knwo what I'm talking about), normally everything is fine and I get a call a few days later letting me know that. When I got a call to come back into the office I was a little alarmed but not incredibly worried. The Doctor told me they found some abnormal cells and wanted to do further testing. I've grown up in medicine, so most things don't make me panic, so I went along with what she said and did the required exams and scans.

I had a mass on my ovary. At the time of finding it, it had spread into my fallopian  tube and was in danger of further spreading. I don't know if you have ever had a medical scare, or watched someone you loved wilt away because of cancer, but I have. I know the Doctor said other things but I just couldn't hear them.

My entire body went numb. What am I going to do now? How did this happen? I'm so careful about coming into get checkups. How did I not see this early? How do I tell my family? So many more questions still rattle around in my mind, but I knew I needed to do something.

I went to insurance agency after agency, bank after bank, peer lender to anyone else I could think of for a loan to cover a partial hysterectomy.  No one would cover it, no one would loan it.

If any of you know me, you know that I'm a huge advocate for living a quality life. I support people in anyway I can, and I never expect it to be returned. The only way to give is to do it with your heart and not your ego.  I've been working 70+ hour weeks trying to scrape together what I can. I'm halfway there, but I'm in depserate need of a little help.

I know the total cost is a doozy, but anything truly helps. I have a lot of love and hope left for this life, and I don't want to lose it yet.
